Yesterday, my close friend Irmak and I went to Jessie J's concert. I can honestly say that she is the most "real", friendly and lively celebrities that I ever see, her performance was just breath taking and her voice was something that you all have to witness. I just can't believe how a person can have such a voice range, it was splendid. Seriously, you should go and check her live performances on youtube. I will soon upload some videos that I took last night.

Dün, yakın arkadaşım Irmak ve ben Jessie J konserine gittik. Dürüstçe söyleyebilirim ki, hayatımda gördüğüm en "gerçek", arkadaş canlısı ve kıpır kıpır ünlülerden biri, sahnesi tek kelimeyle nefes kesiciydi ve sesi hepinizin şahit olması gereken bir şey. Bir insanın bu kadar geniş bir ses aralığı olamaz, gerçekten mükemmeldi. Cidden, hepiniz youtube'dan konser performanslarını izlemelisiniz, birkaç güne ben de dün çektiklerimi yükleyeceğim.

Before the concert, we went to İstiklal Caddesi since we had to cross there to get to the concert. We had a lunch on House Cafe and acted as tourists all day long, it was so funny. The waiters bought our act and actually gave us an English menu, I will repeat this soon, haha!

Konserden önce, yolumuzun üstü olan İstiklal Caddesi'ne gittik. House Cafe'de öğlen yemeği yedik ve bütün gün turistler gibi davrandık, çok komikti. Garsonlar rolumuzu yiyip, bize ingilizce menü getirdiler, çok yakında tekrarlamalıyım, haha!

 Haha, we were so close to the stage that I HAD to do Loser to the ones who got the regular tickets.

Haha, biz sahneye o kadar yakındık ki, normal bilet alanlara bir "Loser" yapmak ZORUNDAYDIM.

 The last photo is when we were waiting for her to come on stage, we actually waited for 3 hours so that we wouldn't lose our spot. It was definitely worth it though.

Son fotoğraf, sahneye çıkmasını beklerken çekildi, yerimizi kaptırmamak için tam üç saat bekledik de. Kesinlikle deydi ama.

CONCERT!   Irmak & I decided to go to Jessie J's concert long time ago, but because we're both very lazy, we got the tickets today. Finally... The concert is tomorrow and I'm very excited, I love Jessie J! Our tickets are from the front of the stage which is even more awesome. I hope you're having an excited day as well.

Irmak ve ben bu konsere gitmeyi uzun zaman önce kararlaştırsak da, ikimiz de çok tembel olduğumuz için anca bugün biletleri aldık. Sonunda... Konser yarın ve çok heyecanlıyım, Jessie J'yi çok severim! Biletlerimiz sahne önü ki bu bütün olayı daha da mükemmel yapıyor. Umarım en az benim kadar heyecan dolu bir gün geçiriyorsunuzdur.

Day two was way better than yesterday since I was less exhausted and ready to enjoy the weather. Instead of getting into the sea, I prefered enjoying the pool instead since the sea was really cold. Anyways, the weather keeps getting hotter and hotter and I avoided the sun all day long. On contrary, as the sun went down, the wind started to blow which was good for me though it wasn't so good for our little photoshoot that we did with my bro.

And last but never the least, the internet drives me crazy here, but I managed to upload the photos on my blog anyway, I hope the connection will get better tomorrow. Hope you had an amazing Sunday as much as I did.

İkinci günüm, dünden çok daha iyiydi çünkü hem dünkü kadar yorgun hissetmiyordum hem de havanın tadını çıkartmaya hazırdım. Denize girmektense, havuzu tercih ettim çünkü deniz gerçekten soğuktu. Neyse, hava git gide ısınıyor ve ben bütün gün güneşten kaçtım. Bunlara zıt olarak, güneş battıkça rüzgar yüzünü göstermeye başladı. Her ne kadar bu benim için daha güzel bir şey olsa da, kardeşimle yaptığımız mini çekimimiz için o kadar da hoş değildi.

Son olarak, buradaki internet beni delirtiyor ama bu fotoğrafları yükleyebildim, umarım bağlantı bundan sonra iyi olur. Umarım en az benim kadar güzel bir Pazar geçirmişsinizdir.

I'm currently sitting on the balcony of our room in Didim, where I'll be spending a week with my family. This is my first time in here and I must say, my first impression is about how splendid and magnificent this place is. Not only the weather is hot but not the kind that makes you breathless, but also, the water is really cool if you want to relax anyway. I, on the other hand spent my first day with only playing volleyball on the beach with a bunch of people since I was very tired of the drive that took around 6 hours.

As for my outfit, because this is my first dinner in here, I didn't know how people dress and I picked up a rather simple one, a high waisted, abstract patterned skirt with a white shirt. To add a bit of an edge, I, for the first time, wore that funky flats from Romwe. They are very comfortable!

So this is pretty much it for the first day, but stay up to date since I'll be back with a lot of photos of this trip, I might go with two posts per day but we'll see about that. Ciao!

Şu an Didim'deki odamızın balkonunda oturuyorum, burada ailemle birlikte bir hafta geçireceğim. Didim'i ilk ziyaret edişim olsa da, burayla ilgili ilk izlenimim kesinlikle inanılmaz bir yer olduğu doğrultusunda. Havanın sıcak olup, sizi nefessiz bırakmamasından tutun, biraz rahatlamak için deniz gerçekten ferahlatıcı sıcaklıkta. Ben, öte yandan, ilk günümü yaklaşık 6 saatlik araba yolculuğundan dolayı yorgun olduğum için sadece plajda volleyball oynayarak geçirdim.

Kıyafetime gelince, buradaki ilk akşam yemeğim olduğu ve insanların nasıl giyindiğini bilmediğimden, gayet sade bir kombinasyon yaptım, yüksek belli, tuhaf desenli bir etek ve beyaz askılı bir bluz. Biraz farklılık katması adına da Romwe'den aldığım bu tuhaf "babetleri" giydim. Gerçekten rahatlar!

İlk günümle ilgili söyleyeceklerim bu kadar, fakat bir sürü fotoğrafla geri döneceğim, bir günde iki post bile yapabilirim bu gidişle, göreceğiz. Görüşürüz!

summer

Finally, the summer has arrived for real! No more studying for the upcoming exams or wearing puffy coats but instead walking on the sand, enjoying the beach and reading a book while your skin is getting sun kissed. Summer is my favorite season, when you can hang out with your friends near the beach, eat ice-cream all day long without getting fat (!) and feeling yourself as if you're a mermaid when the water touches your skin. I know I will. I must admit that I missed seeing shorts and skirts on the streets, not the sweating and becoming breathless though. 

What are your plans for summer folks?

Sonunda, yaz gerçek anlamda geldi! Artık gelecek sınavlar için çalışmak ve pofuduk montlar giymek yok, bunların yerine kumlar üzerinde yürümek, plajın tadını çıkartmak ve güneşi derinizde hissederken kitabınızı okumanın veridiği keyif var. Yaz, kesinlikle en sevdiğim mevsim, sahilde arkadaşlarınızla takılabilir, kilo almadan dondurma yiyebilir (!) ve suyun dokunuşunu cildinizde hissettiğiniz an kendinizi bir denizkızı ilan edebilirsiniz! Ben öyle yapacağım. İtiraf etmeliyim ki yolda şort ve etek görmeyi özlemişim, nefesiz kalmayı ve terlemeyi değil gerçi.

past couple of weeks

Frames from the last couple of weeks. Basically, I've spent my weeks busy with EYP, hanging out with friends and enjoying life. I started jogging two days ago, the weather is amazing in Istanbul and it feels amazing to walk by the shore. Have an amazing Friday!

Geçen haftalardan bazı kesitler. Zamanımı EYP'yle meşgul olarak, arkadaşlarımla gezerek ve hayatın tadını çıkartarak geçirdim. İki gün önce yürüyüş yapmaya başladım, İstanbul'daki hava inanılmaz ve deniz kenarında yürümek gerçekten süper hissettiriyor. Güzel bir Cuma geçirin!

i'm still here

Here's the outfit I told I'd post yesterday. I wore a dress under my galaxy skirt from Romwe because I wanted to wear something elegant on top but couldn't find a shirt for it.

Today, I went to shopping with a few friends and got some pieces that I really can't wait to show to you. Thus, I'll go for a vacation next week which I'm looking forward to it!

And finally, I have tons of photos to put on my blog from EYP and school and from other stuff. Take care!

Dün bahsettiğim kıyafet işte karşınızda. Romwe'den aldığım galaksi eteğinin üstüne -ya da altına?- bu siyah elbiseyi giydim çünkü etekle kombine edebileceğim şık bir bluzum yoktu.

Bugün, birkaç arkadaşımla alışverişe gittik ve aldığım şeyleri size göstermek için sabırsızlanıyorum. Ayrıca, haftaya okulum bitiyor ve tatile gidiyorum, inanılmaz!
