old memories, good memories

I've found these photos on Facebook, they were taken in SAGEF, when one night we decided not to sleep and had a "party" for three. The girl on the background you see is Asunur who was my roommate and the guy is Levent. I miss both of them very much. The thing about SAGEF is the conference was not that good, because it was the first conference held in Gaziantep so it was kind of amateur. But the people were so amazing, the atmosphere was so lively which made me cherish every moment of the conference. So it definitely wasn't my favorite conference (my top one is definitely Iberian Forum which was in Spain -I still miss everyone and every second of the conference...) but it was worth it anyway.

I'd like to cut this post short but I can't. I got really angry today at my friends who think EYP is stupid and lame. The thing is, I agree that some arrogant teenagers can't make a difference but we can surely understand the problems, take small actions against them and build up the most amazing friendships. I'm still in touch with some of my friends from my first session and you know what, I know for sure that that won't be the case with my friends in high school when it is over. What I basically mean is, you build up strong friendships in even four or five days since you share the same ideas and enjoy the same things, and because you don't get to see each other very often you miss each other.

I guess you never know what EYP truly is without getting involved, I don't care what people think, I LOVE EYP and nothing change that.

The "Picasa-shoped" photos are here, as promised. Sorry, I didn't upload them yesterday, I don't even know why, I guess I was too tired?

Update #1: My MAP (Map Assessment Project) has been rescheduled to tomorrow and I barely know the topic. The thing is, they changed the system in our Maths and Geometry exams: We normally got 3 maths exams and 2 geometry per semester but with this new MAP and GAP thingies, now we're getting papers-sort-of-quizes once in every two weeks and their averages will be our grade. I really hate this idea, it's nothing but a new way to torture us.

Update #2 :The next couple of weeks are going to be really though for me since my exam week is coming up. I have to do my term project which is in English (I'm going to write a short story about a woman who has cancer and her teen daughter who is pregnant.) and also my Sociology project (which is about the effects of advertisements on culture.)

So this weeks motto is: Work work work. (it seems I'll be using this a lot.)

Update #3: My close friend Sinem (from EYP), is going to get her first tattoo probably this Friday. She is going to get an elvish tattoo, "Dream" in Tolkien's language. I'm going to be there for her of course, and I'm super excited for her!

just tonight -self portrait

This is the first time that I ever did a "successful" makeup and why waste it? Well, as successful as it can be. I was very bored so I had to do this mini photoshoot with my tripod. Enjoy!

I used a lot of effects on these photos but those will be uploaded probably tomorrow.

 So, my favorite part of my body is probably my fingers (not my nails). And sometimes my hair but it's so curly and fuzzy that it drives me crazy most of the time. Anyways, I collected nail polish for some time and totally forgot about them, I especially love the blue-green shades (seen on the right side). 

The other photo consists of my purchases for the sake of nail care. The left one is from Sephora and the other from Gratis. I never tried both, I'm waiting for the holidays since we're not allowed to wear polish in school.

 And about school. I'm so bored of it, I just need the holidays like right at this moment. I'm going to have a quiz on Maths monday, lovely. The rest is fine though, I'm just tired of waking up so early, I lack of energy nowadays.

 Another purchase I did this week. One of the only products I got online, my mom never lets me use her credit card, who can blame her? Anyways, I'm really looking forward to wear these converses and hopefully not kill them by the end of summer.

Today was super duper with my two loved ones: Sinem and Levent. After grabbing a lunch with Sinem and waiting for Levent, we went to a place to play Guitar Hero. We took turns to play the drums, guitar and to sing. My favorite part was to sing of course but I also like to play the guitar.

Anyways, today was very special. We really understand each other, three Cancers and close friends! Even though we know each other for such a short period of time, I feel like our friendship is really important, we met in one of the EYP sessions, SAGEF to be more precise. Sinem was one of the journos there and Levent was my chair. I love you guys so much, you're the best.

Hope to see them very soon again. Now, I gotta go and eat dinner with my family. Fish is one of my favorite meals!

Officials Night Out Party

During our second day in TIUF, after the day was done and we were tired to death, it was time to enjoy our officials night out as much as we can. We hit to a place called Beer House in Taksim, which was very cool. All we did was to drink -even though it is illegal for most of us- --I don't drink-- and the ones who didn't drink were in the dance floor, singing to karaokes.

you make me wanna la la

First things first, I gotta thank my dear friend Dağhan for writing about me on his blog. If you want to check his great blog where he writes about the little adventures he goes on, just click here: yay!

 As you may know, I was at a concert yesterday and I was so tired that I didn't go to school today. Seriously, all of my bones were aching because of all the jumping and screaming. I personally loved the concert, Duman is one of the only Turkish bands I listen to and their shows are more than amazing. I don't have a lot of photos to show unfortunately since I thought they wouldn't let me to take my camera in, so I took a few shots with my phone (-_-). But I promise that I'll take thousands of shots with my camera the next time.

 And the rest follows with the photos from TIUF. PED keeps getting worse and worse. We have to make a reunion very soon or I'm going to burst to tears.
